MediaTek is the leading multimedia chip manufacturer for smartphones and tablet computers, and for the past two years, has been the largest supplier of mobile chips to Googles Android platform. It also partners with smart TV manufacturers like Vizio, and OEMs like Samsung, to sell its chips in their products.
NVIDIA
NVIDIA has been the undisputed king of mobile GPUs for a long time, with the latest 18.x drivers bringing significant performance improvements over their predecessors, as well as a host of enticing new features. The new Series of mobile GPUs, however, are not quite as potent, with the exception of the GeForce GT 640M and GT 645M, which are roughly equivalent to the GeForce GT 440 and GT 450.
